what a bitter ending for germany, but italy surprised germany by their strong over-time-offensive.
nonetheless, germany is on a good way, if you look back at wm 2002 and em 2004. they're still a relatively young, new formed team that need to get some experience. germany misses the technical skills that you need to break through a defense like italy got. really good goal chances were there, but they have the talent to don't make use of them.
i hope now, that french will win this tourney. they deserve it - such as zidane deserves an adequate retirement.
